I judged it to have been taken around the 1890s because of the age of the boys and the clothes they are wearing, James being the older of the two and George the younger. You did not state wether or not Jennie was a child in the other photo but I am hoping that what I found she is. Townley Photographers was owned by Andrew Townley, and from what I found he was in NJ around the 1880s/1900 and had a studio on the 3rd floor of one of their main buildings there in Newton, Sussex co. NJ. On the 1900 census for Newton, Sussex co. NJ I found this John Lewis b Oct 1835 NJ both parents born in NJ Elizabeth b Apr 1834 NJ both parents born in NJ James Lewis b. Mar 1881 NJ George b. Aug 1882 NJ Jennie b sept 1887 NJ. in 1910 James and Jennie are still living with their parents and George is gone from the home, either having moved on are died. However, I did find a George living in another county that was the same age, as a Salesman in a GroceryStore. Hope this is the right family.
