I have found her two marriage records to John Perkins on 12 Apr 1914 in Stourbridge. He was killed in WWI and Walter Edwards on 12th March 1924 Her father from these records is William Henry James Lewis who is deceased by this date in 1914. Sarah was resident at Valley Road, Lye, Stourbridge, Worcs. in 1914. Sarah was resident at Holloway Road, London at this date in 1924. Have been unable to locate her birth and death records along with her parents details epsecially her mother. Can anyone assist or point me in the right direction please? Many thanks in advance. My search says that Hezekiah was from Scotland, came to Va. in 1778 with wife Jane McCoy, native of Ireland with their 2 year old son George. George marrid Rachel Call, a native of Ireland and daughter of Jesse Call in Greenbrier Co.Va. Now Lewisburg, WV. Georges oldest son was Andrew Lewis (my 4th great grandfather) who was born in Bath Co. Va. He married Margaret McCoy, a daughter of IRish born Lewis McCoy. Margaret was born Aug. 6, 1811 in Tazewll Co. Ba. & was a neice of Samuel and Hannah McCoy(spelled McCoye) of Pike CO. Ky. Lewis McCoy was born in Ireland and came to Va. in 1776. Margaret and Andrew were married December 2, 1833 in Monroe Co. WV (was in Va then) on the waters of Wolf Creek which is East of Pence Springs, WV on Rt. 3. Andrew and Margaret are the parents of my 3rd great grandfather, Mason Matthew Lewis who married Cynthia Keller Gwinn. Their son Paris (Parse) Lewis is my 2nd great grandfather. Paris is my grandfather, Thomas Edison Lewis! 's Dad and he was married to Janetta Gwinn. Thomas married Evelyn Lively from Cowtown Rd in Meadow Bridge. She was the daughter of Charles Thomas Lively and Ittle Ellen Shafer Lively. My mother is Diana Marie Lewis Layne and lives in Prosperity, WV. I have quite a bit of information on the Lewis's but would like to know who the parents of Hezikiah are and where they were from. Do you have that info? Lewis, born ca. 1800 in Maryland (possibly Kemptown area). Married Nancy Walker, Nov. 26, 1822 in Montgomery County, Maryland. She was the daughter of Basil Walker and Mary Boswell. George and Nancy Lewis had the following children: Basil Washington, b. June 2, 1833, m. Cornelia Wiles, (this is my great-great grandfather) and later settled in Jefferson MD, Margaret Ann, m. Reuben Johnson; Sarah, b. 1831, m. John Q. Watts. George died before 1850. He was a blacksmith, and they lived in the Unity-Tridelphia area of Montgomery County. Nancy Lewis is buried at Roxbury Mills, Maryland. Any information on George or his family would be greatly appreciated. My dad is Walter St Peter, his mother was Lillian who would have been your Great Aunt. I am living right in Caribou on the Madawaska Road not too far down the Road from Grammy Madge's house. I am not sure what information you are looking for, but my sister Faith is the one who is trying to construct our family tree. She's somewhere on here but I don't know her username on here. She has a bit of information that she got from Nana (Lillian) and for a short while Faith lived with Grammy Madge and took care of her and learned a lot of stuff just by talking to her. I can give you her e-mail, she would be excited to share any information she has, and see if there is anything you might be able to offer that we don't have.
