The time of day does not matter. But no food or drink (even water) within 30 minutes before. Or brushing teeth I would think as that would disturb the buccal cells inside the cheeks. Is there a chance that she was married before and one her maiden name and one her married name when she married Lewis. I found this to be the case in one of my ancestors, They used the mothers maiden name on one birth cert and her name when she married the father with another birth. Just a thought.
