He was in Rusk Co.and Nacagodoches Co. Tx Captain in Civil War in TX. Died abt. 1883 not sure where. Could he be mine. My mother's birth certificate said Llewellyn until my grandfather scratched it out and wrote in Lewelling, saying she wasn't going to be known as one of "those dam*ed Llewellyns. My 5th great grandfather was known as Lewelling, but his grandson as Lewallen. Flash
