Have serious family illness and have been away from the computer for a few days.Am also sorry to tell you I don't think I can be of any help in your quest for information on any of the names mentioned in your message. I am glad to see that you have been in touch with Ben Lewelling as he has given me more information on my direct lineage than anyone else has been able to do. I was born and raised in Jackson, MS and have memories of visiting my Grandmother in Pontotoc County. However, I did not spend a lot of time there and most of my information has come from census reports, my father and aunts and uncles who have now passed away. Ben was able to provide me with pictures of my Lewelling great grandparents and before that, I knew of no lineage beyond my Grandmother, Mary Emma Lewelling Ferguson. (Needless to say, I am very grateful to Ben!)I now live in Corinth, MS and hope you will stay in touch and that we may share any future informatio! n that may turn up. I know Barbara Lewelling, OC's siser, married Latham Ward. Dad told me they divorced and both remarried. It is possible only Latham remarried and Barbara still uses the last name Ward.
