Okay, I know we are related somehow since I've seen the Bott/Batt name in my records. I need to go back through my files and see what I can find. My Dad was Harry Lesser, and my Mom was Emma Reinick, both from Colorado. It seems the Lesser/Reinick names intertwine for many years. I think your family name comes in as maybe a second wife but can't be sure. Anyway, I would love to exchange information if you would be so kind. My relatives are all over Colorado so it would be great to get new information. I've traced the Lesser side back to 1725 to Johann-Adam Lesser, m-Anna Margaretha ?. I had stopped my research because I duplicated several important names and had no idea how to fix them other than deleting the complete profile and starting anew. Unfortunately that just creates a domino effect with everyone else. Got frustrated and just stopped the past few months. That is one thing about the ancestry program is there is no way to merge the names to stop this problem. They should really find a way to fix this because when you first start learning the program you can do this so easily. Oh well!!
