Do you have any information regarding the Jacob Lesher that was a brother to your John Lesher? There were many Jacob Leshers in Pennsylvania and it would not be unlikely that one first found (when he married) in Frederick Co., Maryland would have been from Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania as that was in line with a route of travel of many who disembarked in Philadelphia. But my Jacob has remained unconnected for far as my evidence demonstrates. His wife, Mary Ann or Anna Maria Coffman/Kaufmann, however was from eastern Pennsylvania and their marriage might have resulted from his following her to Maryland. Thanks for any information.
