However, there are several Lischer groups who emigrated to the U.S. from different parts of Switzerland, Germany and France, You may have to research the Germany church records if still existing to figure out which group yours belong to. The Family History Centers have access to microfilm of a lot of German and other foreign church records. Good Luck!
