Dear Lesher subscribers. As you know, we don't see too many posts against this list; however, we have around 30 subscribers and they've all been a part of this "family" for a long time. Problem. While I see few postings recently, I have been blessed with two or three spam postings on a daily basis. I've taken the time to classify them as spam, updated the Rootsweb filter, and complained a couple of times to Rootsweb, but haven't seen much improvement. I'm sure proper maintenance of the Rootsweb spam filter will eventually get rid of most of the spam, but I have a number of other demanding internet activities and I'd like to step down as the list administrator. If there's a volunteer to take the list over, would you please send me an email to that effect? I'll stay with it for another 30 days and if there is no volunteer I will "orphan" the list at that time. Very best to all. Hey you. I hope you are stepping down because you are just tired and not because of something more serious. I apologize for being lax in getting back with you on that dern 'what to do with the newsletters'. One of these days my life will get back to normal. I have been very busy with my mother; she's been ill and so it's been tough for the last several months. She will be moving to my sisters, who is better equipped to care for her (since I am still working, it's just been impossible). That is coming up at the end of the month. Anyway, what are you thoughts of still figuring out what or how to post them? I know the last time we chatted you were thinking about creating a new website. So the best to both of you and hope you are doing well. Take care, Mary
