I haven't seen a birth certificate, but his marriage license read born in Roane Co. WV. He was 25 when he was married, the license read. He married E. Pearl Legg in 1923 in Clay Co. WV. She died in 1929.......Her death certificate says she was a widow? Any help appreciated.
