We know he had at least 10 brother and sisters this is all we found in the census.Missing that we know of Florence and Ida We do recall emma being a neville. I cant come up with elizabeth's last name yet. I have been to the archives searching on frank to confirm joseph being his father but at that time they just gave the mother a elizabeth (lizzie) on microfilm. I do plan to go back and search again looking up son george. The files then might give more info on the mothers name. But I do feel we are looking for the same elizabeth dates on my side match for birth, marriage and area and death. Please let me know if we have a connection. Thank you for your time in advance. 1. Philip or Jacob Lesher md Mary (Polly) Billmeyer
    2. Harold Robinson
    3. My main area of research has been the BILLMEYER surname since it was my mother’s maiden name. Her family is from the Northumberland/Montour/Columbia County area of Pennsylvania. Among the many Billmeyer’s I’ve come across is Mary (Polly) BILLMEYER. She was born on 15 October, 1795 and died on 15 September, 1873. For a long time I’ve been showing that she married on 1 April, 1813 Philip Lesher. He was born @ 1791 and died on 12 February, 1844. I’ve just come across some information that indicates that her husband’s first name was Jacob, not Philip. Has there been a family history written on the surname LESHER that someone could check to see if there is information on either a Philip or a Jacob Lesher who married a Mary Billmeyer? Thank you in advance for anyone’s help on this query of mine. Harold Gettysburg, PA

However, there are several Lischer groups who emigrated to the U.S. from different parts of Switzerland, Germany and France, You may have to research the Germany church records if still existing to figure out which group yours belong to. The Family History Centers have access to microfilm of a lot of German and other foreign church records. Good Luck!
