    3. I am a BILLMEYER researcher. Most of my mother’s early BILLMEYERs were born and settled in Columbia and Montour counties of Pennsylvania. Mary Billmeyer was born in 1795 and died in 1873. She married in 1813 PHILIP LESHER. He was born in 1791 and died in 1844. They were the parents of the following children: Frances Lesher md Jeptha Auten John Lesher md UNKNOWN Catherine Lesher never married (that I know of) Sarah Lesher never married (that I know of) Andrew Lesher md Sarah Billmeyer George Lesher died young Mary A Lesher died young Margaret Lesher md Jonathan Follmer Is anyone researching this family? Lesher is related to my ancestor, Colonel Peter Lesher (born about 1788) from Carlisle, PA. John was a well known photographer in Carlisle around the 1860's. He married a gal named Mary Hoaller. They had no children. He died in 1902, she later died in 1921. John had a brother named Casper who lived in Kansas (at the time of his death in 1902). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Lesher of Carlisle, PA and in his obit it mentions having a brother, Casper, in Kansas. I'm trying to figure out if this John is related to my ancestor, Peter Lesher. I did find a Casper Lesher in the census of 1880, and then later found his wife, Margaret. That's all I have. If you have any connection to the Peter Lesher, please let me know. Thanks!

    3. Good morning, I have a picture of Fredrick Almon Lesher son of Gertrude and Ed Lesher. It is a baby picture taken probably in the very early 1900s. There are no dates on the picture, only the names. The photographer seems to be McDowell of Seville, Ohio. If anyone is related to these people, I will gladly send you the picture. Peace, Judy

Guy Lesher was my Grandfather, he married Mazal Imogen Starcher, they had two sons, Bernard Lesher and Denver Dale Lesher. Bernard Lesher passed away about 2 yrs ago due to Fatal 18 wheeler accident. He married Hope ____, in the 1960's they had 2 childern. Bernard (Toby) born in the early to mid 1960's, Toby passed away this past spring 2003 of an illing disease. Rita born on March 13,1969, currently living in Fla.with her 2 childern. They were both born and raised in Seattle , I married her son in 1949, he was 19 years old , so I would imagine she was probably in her late 30's. Her mother Mrs Lesher probably late to mid 50's, The elder Mrs Lesher, had passed away not long before I met and married the son of Genivieve, so before 1949.. Genivieve passed away in 2000, she had always asked me whenever I was in Columbia Falls, Montana to go to the cemetary there and try to find her grandparents. So is this of any significance to what you are looking for.
