Duffner. Here's an abstract of the marriage record at the church: Jacobum Petry; Wallhausen, Prussia and Elisabetham Leister; Dahlberg, Prussia. Witnesses: Nicolaus Leister, John Leister, Christina Hebron, Amalia Jaeger. Note the parish priests Latinized all the names in these books, so his name wasn't really Jacobum.. just Jacob. Same with Elizabeth.. she wasn't really Elizabetham. Your Adolph must be the one I have as "Elexander A. Petry" from census records. One of my grandfather's Leister first cousins remembers the family.. she told me that Ernest went to Hollywood and was a dentist for many stars there.
