I was just photographing some tombstones at Most Holy Name cemetery yesterday to help Debbie (Moore) Lesslie figure out some of the PETRY line. I'm descended from one of Grossie's brothers, Bernhard LEISTER, then his daughter Josephine (LEISTER) MUENZER. Our common ancestors then are Grossie's parents, Margaretha LINK and Nicholas LEISTER (although I have variations on the first name of this man). They would be my 3rd great grandparents. Do you still live in Erie? I had heard that one of Jacob PETRY's sons had gone to California but perhaps it was a red herring.
