Hi June The Saturday treat to round off the day was a frothy coffee and a cream bun at Brucciannis If I remember rightly there were three then, the non smoker by Lewis's , the Turkey Cafe on Granby street and one on the opposite corner to Woolies (same side as the Town Hall Square) The Turkey Cafe was the favourite Then a long walk down to the Newarke bus station One of my school friends family had a stall on Leicester Market next to Linekers Was Kemps Clock at the entrance to the Market ?
