There is a possiblity in the Melbourne Baptist Register RG4/507 covering births 1754-1806, baptisms 1765-1793 and list of members 1770-1789. There are 2 entries for Stenson, the first in a list of members "Baptised att Packington July 24 1770 Wm Stenson [crossed through], Colorten Moor. The second entry is Wm Stenson in 'The number of Members, & their names which was in the Baptist Church att Melboun July ye 29th 1770'. As the Baptists practiced adult baptism might this be a possiblity for William's father? Sue
