Thanks for that Mike, I guess I'd written him off because he was the son of Thomas Richardson and Harriet Pilcher. Thomas died between 1853 and 1861 (possibilities 1858 & 1859) and Harriet remarried to William Billson Sep Q 1859. I can't find a decease or emigration for a relevant Billson so I obviously need to chase a possible Richardson in case he reverted to his birth surname.
