    3. My mother also had pork pie for breakfast as a child. No connection to Leicestershire though, born and bred in Northampton (the town) My other half had (and still has)ham sandwiches Christmas morning. So I always cook ham for Christmas Eve dinner and that has evolved into another tradition.
