    3. Hi Doreen, Try the record office at Wigston. They have copies of many transcriptions of monumental inscriptions. The Women's Institute did an excellent job of capturing many of them across the country some years ago. Also, where private individuals have transcribed them at a time when they were in a better state, they may have lodged a copy with the record office. They are catalogued by parish - ask at the search room desk. The record office can also advise on the Parish Registers for Sharnford, depending on what time frame you're interested in. Good luck. Unfortunately, a foot search of the Cemetery is helpful - but not helpful enough. Having already done the personal graveyard search, many of the stones are as usual, unreadable, covered in ivy, many broken, many stacked the wrong way after being "saved". I wonder if any one can tell me if there is a record, anywhere, of the persons actually buried at Sharnford Churchyard, please? Thanks for anything that is known. (I know that in Castlemorton, Worcestershire there is a record kept at the actual Church of St.Gregorys covering the Parish Churchyard and this has been most helpful in finding Castlemorton deceased Ancestors and I wondered if there is such a thing for Sharnford Churchyard that SKS is aware of - or not!)
