    3. I wonder if anyone has heard of Kemps clock or remember where it used to be. My friend says it was a popular place to meet friends when going out in the evening in the 50s/60s. Andy

    3. It was top of Gallowtree Gate on the corner as you went into the market. Opposite Woolworths. As you said it as a regular meeting place particularly for blind dates. You could look over the prospects and perhaps go the other way!! Not that I ever did such a thing!! Dennis
