Hi Sandra I suggest you email the Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Record Office at recordoffice@leics.gov.uk giving name, parish of residence at death and year of death, ask whether they have a matching will and, if so, the cost of supplying a photocopy. If you strike oil, armed with the information from the will the best way of tracking children forward would, of course, be via the censuses. Good luck! Thanks to all who replied. I have searched the national archives and found that neither of them left a will. As I don't live in the UK, my next step is to order the films from the LDS and hope that I find some useful information there. Sandra
