Hi a BIT OF A LONG SHOT BUT,-working with a Reiners I had a quick look at 1801 Norwegian census Rein sounds like rain I found a number of Reiner/Reins/Reiners there there being 7 in Sandherred 3 Reiner in Helland(near Stavanger) and another in the same prefecture at Heilmeland Who is posted as head of the houshold's sister's son the boy being ten but the householder capt in the guards(Norwegian) is 61 years old.     3. Hi Terry, An interesting conjecture.......I suppose that the only way that could be confirmed would be through DNA testing. My intuition says that Benjamin & Elizabeth must have married somewhere in England. I just need to find where.
