    3. I have found the solution. The “Record Change” fact in Family Tree Maker turns out to be a product of importing any GEDCOM file into the program. I was able to erase every one of them by exporting the file as a GEDCOM file, deleting the FTW file and then importing back the same GEDCOM file by selecting which facts to import. By selecting a “blank” option against the “Record Change” leaves that fact blank, so when the file is imported, all those old “Record Change” facts are gone.
