Hello all, I have attached this email to every one in my Dads address book so if you have received this and don't know Ron personally I apologise. It is with much regret that I have to inform you of the passing of my Dad, Ron Hawthorne. He has been ill for some months now, and was admitted to hospital again a couple of weeks ago. Things took a turn for the worst and he passed away on Wednesday 28th November. Dad received so much enjoyment from his computer and all his genealogy contacts, (that was when we realised how sick he was when he was unable to continue !) Most days started with "I'll get into the computer room today" but unfortunately he never did. I would just like to thank all of you for the friendship and help that you showed him over the years, as much as he drove us nuts with all of his family trees talk, he so enjoyed every minute he spent in front of this screen.
