    3. Mel, Thanks for that info. Having also been annoyed at FTM not being able to display in date order, I am grateful for your advice. I suppose, now I think about it, that many computer lists will format in the order required, (date, alphabetically,) if the field name is clicked. So to sort the facts by date click on the header that says "DATE" in the facts window Mel Smith Whitby, Ontario, Canada -----Original Message----- From: leicestershire-plus-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:leicestershire-plus-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of The Quineys Sent: December 4, 2007 4:15 PM To: leicestershire-plus-l@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [LEI] Family Tree Maker As I say, I'm happy with FTM 2005. The major gripe I have is that I cannot sort the facts chronologically. I live in hope that a future version will provide that option but in the meantime, I think I'll stick with the devil I know. Thanks for the tip though. If I fall out with FTM, I'll bear it in mind ;-) Heather Q Sue Hope wrote: > If you want to produce your own style of family tree there is > Microsoft Visio which I use at work for staff trees, but is also great > for hybrids within the family.
