I am looking for a simple, repeat simple, and easily understandable guide to the county, parish, etc set up in England. Is there one on line? I love maps and geography was one of my "best" subjects at school so I find myself trying to explain proximity or not of locations to Listers on a fairly frequent basis. I have a record of several very useful map sites. I usually have one or the other alongside me when I am researching. However, I have never found an good explanation of the relationship between the various administrative levels in England in 19th century and before on line. Any ideas? Anne PalingSHEFFIELD, U.K.
