Good evening 'Dunton Bassett' I am carrying out some research into William BANBURY the landlord of the Crown & Thistle in 1916. Can anyone please tell me if this pub still exists and if so which brewery own it? Anyone with ANY information which may help me please get in touch. I am hoping I may find the burial of William BANBURY in the local cemetery so the name & telephone number of the Parish clerk would be of great value. I am not an armchair researcher wanting others to do my research for me but I am very disabled following a stroke Thank you Regards Harold
