    1. [LEI] HOLLINS, GARDINER, BUTLER, SNAITH, Leicester/Syston
    2. Wondering if anyone out there is connected to Thomas HOLLINS, Cordwainer, in the early 1800's, first in Market Place and later in Northampton Street? Information kindly supplied by Carolyn backed up my theory that his wife was Jane GARDINER. Their son, also Thomas was also a Cordwainer in Leicester, married to a Mary. Grandson of Thomas and Jane, another Thomas, married to an Eliza seems to have been a Solicitors Clerk in Leicester, tho by 1891 he seems to have retired to Syston. Jane HOLLINS, daughter of Thomas and Jane, was married to my John BUTLER (Chemist) who died young. Jane then married Thomas SNAITH - they were last seen in 1861 listed as Photographic Artists living on London Road. Be pleased to hear from anyone connected to this family.
