Hello Venetia, In addition to the death record there is an entry in the 1841 Census under the family name "LIVANS" or "LEVANS" at Conduit Street, Leicester.? William - age 60; May - age 50; Sarah - age 15; Frederick - age 14. William is shown as "Ind." (I think "of independent means"). ?Ancestry shows only seven other entries in England for a William 'LIVENS' or its different spellings.? I know that the adult ages were rounded in this census, but it seems virtually certain that the William in this census is the one buried on 16 March 1843, age 63, at St. Margarets. William's year of birth was about 1780; Anne's was about 1757 so it is possible that William was Anne's son. Perhaps the parish register might give an address for Anne that could confirm that she was on of the family at Conduit Street. Would there be a way to find this out through her death - perhaps through a will??
