Would someone with Leicestershire Library cataglog access be willing to look up this book for me? It is a memoir of Mary Doubleday of Long Clawson, 1856. The only online reference for it is at the British Library in London. I am not sure it is my ancestor but I have a Mrs Mary Doubleday of Long Clawson who died that year. *Memoir of Mrs. Doubleday, of Long-Clawson, Leicestershire.* Author: John NEWTON, Wesleyan Methodist Minister.; Mary DOUBLEDAY Publisher: London : sold by J. Mason ; Melton Mowbray : J. Towne, 1856. Edition/Format: Book - Shannon

Hi Shannon, I checked the Leicestershire catalogue. Did not find what you are looking for but there is one book which looks to be by the same author. http://capitadiscovery.co.uk/leicestershire/items?query=John+Newton&facet%5B 0%5D=mainauthor%3A%22Newton%2C+John.%22&sort=relevance this is the link to that page. It is not in stock but it says that it is available at the records office. Shannon, I just realized that I searched the catalogue without logging in to my account so it must be open to everyone this is the link to the Library Services page http://www.leics.gov.uk/library_services/ They have recently outsourced the library website to a company called Capita Discovery Regards Mike > -----Original Message----- > From: leicestershire-plus-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:leicestershire- > plus-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of moonshell > Sent: 27 January 2014 03:01 > To: LEICESTERSHIRE-PLUS@rootsweb.com > Subject: [LEI] Searching for a Memoir > > Would someone with Leicestershire Library cataglog access be willing to > look up this book for me?
