Hi Nivard and Connie, I found the will for Mary ADAMS (nee Steere) on Ancestry.com. It is fabulous - giving me the name of a daughter I had not known about. This connects to some other online family trees (with wrong info) as well as some that seem well researched. Through these, I am starting to follow the siblings of my ADAMS ancestor. I had already found the poll books. I am not convinced that the John ADAMS owning land in Wartnaby in 1775 is the right one. He may be, but he is residing in Wykeham (now Wycomb) according to the note. I believe my John ADAMS would be residing in Thorpe Arnold. Still, they are only 4 miles apart so its very possible.
