    3. Hi, Verne, This is not pertinent to your current inquiry, but have you seen pictures of Stenson House in Coalville? If not, you should. I have no idea whether this new or repurposed mansion has anything to do with your family, or not, but it is worth a look! http://www.leics.gov.uk/index/community/registration_services/marriages_and_ civil_partnerships/registeroffices/stensonhouse.htm Carolyn in snowy Minnesota, USA -----Original Message----- From: leicestershire-plus-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:leicestershire-plus-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Vern Prescott Sent: Saturday, February 15, 2014 8:39 AM To: leicestershire-plus@rootsweb.com Subject: [LEI] Rev C. W. HARRINGTON Hi Everyone I was wondering whether anyone on the list might have information on Rev C. W. Harrington. He married Ruby Webb in 1931 in Croyden. The announcement in the Nottingham paper said that he was the newly appointed minister of the London Road Baptist Church in Coalville. From newspaper searches, it appears that he did not stay in Coalville very long, although there seems to have been another Rev C W Harrington also. My interest in Rev Harrington is that I have an undated newspaper article that mentions that he lived in Coalville House, which was built by my ancestor William Stenson. If Rev Harrington had children, I would like to try to contact them (or their descendants) to see if they might have a photo of Coalville house. Any help, leads, would be appreciated. 3. Hi Carolyn Thanks for this. I have been to Stenson House which is the municipal offices. I you look at the map on the page you will see a car park to the right of the municipal office. That car park is where Coalville House was situated. The 1901 map I have shows a burial ground which looks to be to the north of where Stenson House now sits. I have done some research on the Harrington familynand have contacted some one on facebook whom I think is CW's great grandson. Hopefully I will get a reply.
