    3. Oh! Thank you so much, Jack! February 2014 seems to be a special time for me and my family history. Several brick walls are recently cracked or collapsing thanks to the wonderfully helpful people on the {LEI} and {NTT} lists, proving that if you don't ask--and maybe more than once--you certainly won't reap the benefits! Some progress is being made on several fronts. In the case of Hannah Tindall Wardle, I think all that needs to happen now is to haul the rubble away! Hannah Tindall Wardle cared for her teen-aged niece, Emma Padley, the oldest daughter of Hannah's older sister, Mary Ann Tindall Padley, after Mary Ann died in 1882. Tragically, Emma herself died on 24 March 1884 at Hannah's home of tubercular peritonitis. Hannah was her care giver throughout that time. Hannah made all of the arrangements for Emma to be buried in the same cemetery you mentioned. I thought there was no chance Hannah would be there, as well, because Hannah was a Baptist for at least some of her life. Public records don't always tell us when people decide to switch religions! Now only one last thing remains. Can you or someone else tell me if the parish register still exists, and if so, where is it located? Would it be possible to get a photographic image of the entry? Do you have an address so that I can write and inquire. You made my day! W. HARRINGTON Hi, Vern, Were you aware that the London Road Baptist Church is no longer there? I do not have any details, but obviously it must have been there in 1931. Much earlier, I had an grand aunt (my grandmother's sister, Hannah Tindall Wardle, who attended London Road Baptist Church. She may have been buried there a few days after her death 01 October 1901. I wonder if the churchyard had a cemetery or whether these Baptists were buried in some non-conformist cemetery elsewhere. Or, if the church had a cemetery, did they go to the tedious lengths to move all of the graves someplace else? I find it odd that descendants of Hannah Wardle (some are even family historians) do not know where she was buried! If you find the relatives you are seeking, would you please ask where this church normally buried their dead? Thanks. W. HARRINGTON Hi Everyone I was wondering whether anyone on the list might have information on Rev C. W. Harrington. He married Ruby Webb in 1931 in Croyden. The announcement in the Nottingham paper said that he was the newly appointed minister of the London Road Baptist Church in Coalville. From newspaper searches, it appears that he did not stay in Coalville very long, although there seems to have been another Rev C W Harrington also. My interest in Rev Harrington is that I have an undated newspaper article that mentions that he lived in Coalville House, which was built by my ancestor William Stenson. If Rev Harrington had children, I would like to try to contact them (or their descendants) to see if they might have a photo of Coalville house. Any help, leads, would be appreciated.
