Please could anyone who has the Leics Marriage CD or access to any other records tell me who Mary Annie Cooke or Emma Elizabeth Cooke married or find either of them in the 1891, 1801, 1911 census? I believe Mary Annie married in Apr- Jun 1886 to either William Thomas HARDING or William Thomas JONES but I cannot find either of these in the 1891 or 1901 census as I have little info to go on. Mary A Cooke was born St Martins, Leics, Oct-Dec 1860, parents John Cooke and Mary Ann Poppleton. Mary's sister was Emma Elizabeth Cooke, b St Martins, Leics Oct - Dec 1862, who may have married Walter Winterton CHAMBERS or Harry NORMAN also in Apr - Jun 1886 but again, I cannot find either of them in the later census. I have to admit here that my Ancestry sub has run out and I am using some free units on fmp and I do not find the site as easy to use! If anyone has any connections to the Cook(e)s originating from Oakham/Whissendine areas in Rutland but a few of them moving to Leics in later years, I would love to hear from you and compare notes.
