I am looking at the 1861 Census for Aston, Birmingham. there is a John HOUGHTON aged 42 born Stapleton, LEI with his wife Martha, they have two childred Tom aged 16 and Mary Ann aged 14 also there on the night is a lodger named John MORLEY aged 22 born Sapcote. Tom's birthplace is given at what looks like Warwicks Hydro Pasture...does anyone have any clues about this place? It would seem that it is near Stapleton because the next child was born there and on the 1851 census it has Tom born Stapleton. It was such an interesting name, I just had to ask. Annette in Cowra NSW
