Looking for help to find information on a HENRY ADCOCK. What I need is someone with access to the marriage records. Hopefully from it we wiil know how old he is, his parents names and perhaps even an address. Any information that is on the certificate would be greatly appreciated. I know he married a SOPHIA BELLAMY in the first quarter of 1856 GRO Reference Mar 1856 Leicester District Volume 7a Page 248 There are no census records for Henry or Sophia as a couple that I can find and until I know more about HIM it is impossible to really look any further . They had a child, ELIZABETH SOPHIA ADCOCK born August of 1856 (I have her birth certificate) The marriage and birth took place in Leicester, Leicestershire (most likely St Margaret) I have all the census records for Elizabeth Sophia, their daughter. She was raised by her maternal grandparents John & Sophia Bellamy. I suspect the death of a Sophia Adcock in 1859 would account for this It is mainly Henry I am trying to get information on. Any help in this department would be greatly appreciated. I am trying the list before ordering their marriage certificate myself. If the information is worthwhile then I will most certainly order it.
