I have looked on Ancestry for you, (this is a subscription site) and found a possible marriage between Reuben Charles and Mary Asher in the December quarter 1847, in Melton Mowbray registration district. The register only shows the individual names of those married that day, it doesn't pair them up, so it is not 100%. Old Dalby would I guess be in the Melton Reg. district. You will either have to send for the certificate from Melton register office, or look up the parish records in Leicestershire Record Office.
