Hello Again The NAYLORs are a small twig (locale not family size!!) on my wife's family tree. I wonder if anyone can help with a Matilda NAYLOR who was born in the Mar Q 1863 (Uppingham 7a 271) and who, in 1871, was living with her grandparents Philip & Mary NAYLOR in Preston. In the Sep Q 1880 she married a John BUXTON (Uppingham 7a 451). If anyone more closely allied to the NAYLOR or BUXTON names can assist with her parents I would be grateful. I am an NZ superannuitant and am unwilling to lay out for the certificate for someone so far from the trunk of my wife's tree!! Her first child was called Martha Harriett BUXTON and so I wonder if her mother was Philip & Mary's daughter Martha who never married!! Unfortunately Philip & Mary had 13 children many of whom could have been her parent. Here's hoping Mike in a cold wintery Whakatane NZ
