Can anyone help me with the CLOWES family at Woodhouse Eaves? Samuel CLOWES, an MP lived in Eaves St. He was married to one of the Okeover family and had 24 family and servants living in the house at the 1870 census. Does anyone know the whereabouts of Eaves St and have they any ideas of why my Great Grandma, Eliza Amelia FLAVELL was a scullery maid there at that time? Eliza came from a fairly wealthy family in Birmingham, but I believe her father had died. I would love to know if the families had some links. Stephanie. South wales
