Hello Listers. While researching my ancestor George Webb. the following information was relayed to me: from Leicestershire Banking Company AGM 8th February 1854 "Resolved that a marble tablet to the memory of the late George Webb Esq (the first and twenty two years the faithful Manager of the Bank) be placed in a niche of the cloisters of the Leicester Cemetary." Can anyone tell me if this cemetary is still in existence? If so, and sks could take a photo of the tablet without going to a lot of fuss and bother, I would be very grateful!!
