Looking for any information on Johnathan Castledine who was the son of Thomas & Elizabeth & baptised in Syston 10 April 1707 He married Ann Feukes (variation in spelling) in 1729 Does anyone have any burial records for Syston in which he is recorded as dead prior to 1750 For years I have been trying to trace my ancestor who was Anne Castledine (widow of Hoby) who married Matthew Sheffield of Syston in 1750 Matthews grt Grandmother was a Feukes ! Alison: Several years back I had the Syston PR's and made some notes. CASTLEDINE was one of the names I made notes on In my notes I have Marriage of Johnathon CASSELDINE & Ann FEWK 8 Feb 1729 by banns Baptism of Ann dau of Jona'n CASSELDINE and Ann 3 Nov 1734 I did not find a burial for Johnathon prior to 1750 nor did I see any more children, but my notes may be incomplete. I did not find the individuals in your earlier messages either.
