Having been off list for some time am reposting interests for the following families Jeffcoate , Cooke. Does anyone have 1) Susannah (Jeffcoate) Cooke b 1870 nuneaton and William Edward Cooke c1868 Barrow on Soar in their family ? They had 3 children that I know of Louis Cecil 1893 , William John 1896 and Frank 1899. 2) Mary (Jeffcoate) Jones 1872 Nuneaton and Alfred Harry Jones . Married in Leicester 1895 .They had one son that I know of Lawrence Alexander Jones who was living with grandparents Samuel and Susannah Jeffcoate according to 1901 census. 3) Edwin Jeffcoate b 1882 Nuneaton and Elizabeth Jeffcoate b 1880 last known record 1901 Leicester census . Parents Samuel and Susannah. Edwin was possibley handicapped and therefore did not marry. Finally,are there still the following churches in Leicester- St Peters and St Saviours ? My mother was baptised at St Peters by a W Louis Cooke in 1918 and he was a clergy man at St Saviours in 1928. Trying to find out if he is in any way related to William Cooke. Many thanks
