Full name was Charles Askew. He was sent to USA in 1854, age 3, perhaps by Mother or some organization be cause it has been said that the Mother was in a work house. A Dr. Miller, so it is said by family went to Troy, AL to adopt this little one from a home . Not sure where he was in Troy, nor when he arrived there.
