Hello listers: Can someone tell me if the registers for Whitwick have been transcribed and if a CD is available ? I am seeking confirmation of Ancestral File entries for 4 generations. Thomas HALLAM c.5 Sept 1790. Sp. Hannah UNDERWOOD b. abt 1794. I have their marriage 26 Nov 1816. Their second son, George c. 24 Jan 1819 is my direct ancestor, and I have his info. Richard HALLAM b 28 Oct 1764. Ann GRIFFIN b and c 10 Feb 1767 to Robert GRIFFIN and Frances UPTON Marriage 18 Jan 1790 James HALLAM b. 25 Dec 1740 Whitwick to Richard and Mrs. Hallam. Married to Elizabeth unknown in St. Margaret's Leicester. I have tried to review the LDS film 0596077 (Whitwick 1604-1854) from Salt Lake City, Utah but it was very dark and I was unable to read a great deal of it, and of course due to age and condition of the docs. themselves. Hopefully there is sks with more experience and better eyesight than I. Any assistance or suggestions will be much appreciated. Madeline in sunny California.
