I was the one who replied initially saying that there were no Portsmouths left in Loughborough, but now I look again there are some in Shepshed, which is only a few miles away, and one of these is probably the one you contacted. This time last year we were in your neck of the woods at the end of a wonderful 3½ weeks in NZ before flying out from Christchurch. I love the country, the people, and the wine! I have played a few hunches and have done some hard graft since being told this morning by a PORTSOUTH family member in Leicestershire that Gail and Frank emigrated. I can now report that I have made contact with Gail's son who gave me contact details for his mother. He phoned me tonight less than 15 minutes after I emailed him a copy of Judy's message. The funny thing is that Gail's son saw the above message from Judy on a Loughborough pay site a couple of months ago but wasn't prepared to use his credit card on-line.
