Hi Steven Who was your John W DEACON's parents? I only see a John Henry DEACON born in Fleckney in the 1881 census, son of Ezra Or do you mean he was from Fleckney but not born there? There is a John William DEACON son of John and Selina (both born Fleckney) they are in Kilby Bridge in 1881 JW is enumerated born in Wigston The John Henry born Fleckney looks to have been killed in action in 1914 When you say "the" one on the National Archives which one do you mean is the wrong one?
