Hello All- I'm new to the list and I'm wondering if I can send some of you a scanned image from the Oldham 1851 Census. The county birthplace looks like it reads Leicester or Leicestershire and the town looks like Hathrington or Hallrington but I can't find any town resembling anything close to that names. Lance: As you cannot attach files to Rootsweb mailing lists it would perhaps be better to provide the census reference numbers including folio and page number and name of head of household. List members who have on-line access to the census can look and try to decipher the information.
