My first job in 1951 was with the Leicester Permanent Building Society at the top of the Welford Road & on the corner of Pockilingtons Walk (where the statue of John BIGGS used to stand...) & we often watched the photographers dodging the traffic to take the photographs. Many a quiet giggle at their antics.
