    3. Hi Terry I suspect you may get more response if you pad it out with more specific information, names, years, addresses ect It also has the advantage of being searchable in the archives, you never know how other researchers may be coming at your information, perhaps they have someone who has the same address and a connection that way, if they do not know your two surnames are connected to that address they may not bridge the gap Just a thought Best wishes Nivard Ovington, in Cornwall (UK) > > Hello list, > re posting my interest all wigston area > > SMART all dates > BENNETT " " > > any information on these names please get in touch > > terry.

    3. Hi list, a large number of removals updated on Yesterdays site (link below)includes a good number into Leicestershire. Not surprisingly Melbourne has a few names there but the removals were throughout the County of Debyshire. Parishes beginning A-S are where the new entries are, too many to list. mike -- http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~spire/Yesterday/index.htm

    3. Hi Floyd,       Husbands Bosworth has a web page at http://www.husbandsbosworth.info/ Finding information on this page is problematic but I think I saw something on a Smith family who controlled the Manor there at one point, before your Richard Smith.      I'm interested in the Stokes/de Stoke family of Husbands Boswortth although I can't link to them.  My George Stokes was born about 1530 and lived about 32 miles from Husbands Bosworth.  Its difficult to find information at this early date, there aren't many records.                                                                                                            Jim ----- Original Message ---- From: Floyd Smith <psamika@sbcglobal.net> To: LEICESTERSHIRE-PLUS@rootsweb.com Sent: Friday, July 18, 2008 12:20:44 PM Subject: [LEI] Richard Smith of Husbands Bosworth My ancestor Richard Smith Married Rebecca Buswell 13 Feb. 1615/16 at  Husbands Bosworth, They had 10 children born there between about 1617  and 1637, most of whom were found in baptismal records.
