I contacted the site, they suggested a change of browser and I have had no real problems since I made a change. Regards, Jack Allen

    3. Having been unsuccessful in helping Lance I thought I'd place it on Photobucket for you all to see and can be found at http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc199/Birstall46/jane.jpg It's the second entry from the top. For those of you with access to the 1851 census the reference is 107/2240 Folio 340 page 33. I'm not convinced it is Leicestershire and with some imagination I can make Cheshire out of the first word Bruce -----Original Message----- From: leicestershire-plus-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:leicestershire-plus-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Mel Smith Sent: Friday, March 14, 2008 9:52 AM To: 'Lance Mitchell'; LEICESTERSHIRE-PLUS@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [LEI] NEED HELP READING ANCESTORS BIRTHPLACE FROM 1851 CENSUS Lance: As you cannot attach files to Rootsweb mailing lists it would perhaps be better to provide the census reference numbers including folio and page number and name of head of household. 3. Thanks to Wendy and others for their help. I now know that Louisa PERKES and husband Victor are on the Hobart, Tasmania electoral rolls so I'm guessing they emigrated before 1901. I do not know where they married. Regards Trevor
